Assessment Instrument Review

Assessment Instrument Review : Each student is required to select one instrument to examine and produce a minimum 2 – 3 page review of the instrument. In addition to test manuals, information about instruments is available through the Buros Center for Testing website: http://www.unl.edu/buros. The review should include:
• Title of assessment.
• Primary purpose.
• Target population.
• Standardization information (procedures; size and composition of standardization sample; reliability procedures, types and coefficients; validity procedures, types and coefficients;)
• Description of administration procedures.
• Description of scoring procedures.
• Score interpretation (approach to and meaning of scores).
• Applications across cultural groups.
