The body of the paper ( important part of the paper: 40 points) – Experimental Evidence: – Describe important results from recent primary literature articles – Explain how those results shape our current understanding of the topic – Point out and address any controversies if any in the field on the understanding of the disorder /treatment/diet – Use figures and/or tables to present your own synthesis of the original data (cite the original article) – if you use other people’s data (figures/tables) make sure to quote them
Conclusion & future directions section (10 points) – this section can be written in your own words – suggest – a hypothesis or mechanism or your own conclusion based on the information from the studies discussed – you can use figures/tables to support your conclusion – can summarize all the results ( from various studies) to draw further conclusions •Summarize your major points & discuss the questions that remain in the area. •Suggest future studies that could be done in this area•Overall throughout the paper provide headings, subheadings etc., to break the monotony •Cite the sources unless it is your own sentence. Citations should be (author, year) in the paper- any scientific format accepted (5 points)•Others: Paper format (first page with title & name), spelling, grammer etc. (5 points)
