Write a scholarly essay in which you compare and contrast the Olympic movement to the Paralympic movement and critique their legacies. Use refereed (peer reviewed) sources from books and journals, as well as Para/Olympic official documents (if they exist for your particular topic).
Your topic can address cultural, sociological, political, historical, and/or economic levels of comparison. No media topics are allowed for this essay topic (since the next assignment will be media related). C level 12.0–13.9 Adequate description, synthesis, comparison, and critique of research.
D level 1.0 or less Poor performance in presentation & analysis of Para/Olympic research.
