For this assignment, you will choose two of the seven possible options in order to demonstrate a proficiency of FEAP (b) #1. After you decide which two, you must include all precursory information necessary for the instructor to understand your option and creation of the artifact. For example, if you are choosing option 5: Prepare for a Teacher-Parent Conference, then briefly explain what has been going on—give a brief synopsis for the necessity of the meeting. FEAP Activity (b) #1: Continuous Professional Improvement >(c) Collaborates with the home, school and larger communities to foster communication and to support student learning and continuous improvement. Choose two of the following artifacts to demonstrate proficiency in this FEAP
Write a letter to Parents of Your Students: Demonstrate your ability to write a letter to parents of your students. Describe expectations for your students and homework policies. Identify times you are available for conferences and telephone calls.
Create a Weekly Report Form: Demonstrate your ability to create a weekly report to communicate student achievement to parents.
Communicate with Parents: Send a newsletter home to the parents of your students. Let them know what is being learned in class.
Email a Parent: Email parents information on their child’s progress in your class.
Create a class newsletter: Highlight class activities and project/assignment due dates.
Create a Class Website: Highlight school and class activities/topics and project/assignments.
Prepare for a Teacher-Parent Conference: Write questions you may have prior to the conference. Assemble copies of student work to share with the parent(s).
