Living as an orphan, that means you will face a lot on your way, and life will not be easy. Yes, my mother passed away when I was little young, and my father followed her when I was twelve years old, which made life more difficult,I had to work at a young age to feed myself and pay the expenses of my sport and school life, as I worked hard to balance my practical, scientific, and sports life.
In the beginning, the passion and enthusiasm were like an amateur, but soon the path turned into a highly important professional project, so my career as a Taekwondo player became after I drew my path and goals to reach globalism. my sports journey started as a member of a local team, then captain of the team, and finally the representative of the Yemeni national team for five years.
With the effort and sacrifices, the goals continued to be achieved one after another, I was able to raise the national flag and win various medals on the coronation podiums.
During that stage, I did not neglect the scientific aspect at all. I stopped academic learning for a period due to my passion for technical and linguistic learning, and I obtained many certificates for mastering computer science and mobile programming, also reached an advanced level in the English language, my ability in these fields made me always aspiring to develop my professional and technical expertise and then After that, I resumed my academic studies and obtained my high school diploma.
And so, I quickly went in two parallel lines on the sports side and the educational side, Until the disaster happened, the war broke out in my country, which caused the suspension of all educational and sports activities, my dreams were almost killed amid this difficult tragedy. Here I learned that I had to fight for my goal and decided to travel alone to continue my educational passion and my sporting goal. I got the opportunity to teach in one of the largest sports academies in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, There I practiced my training hobby and I was able to enroll in intensive English language courses online, after less than two years I received an invitation from the World Taekwondo Federation to participate in sport courses here in South Korea, the country that we loved and grew up with its culture since the first day of practicing Taekwondo, I was honored to accept the invitation and continued to go through many programs, training, and arbitration courses to develop my sports experiences.
But due to current circumstances in my beloved country Yemen and the impossibility of returning I had to apply for an asylum seeker here in South Korea which for me is the other country that embraced me in the most difficult time, currently, I am looking forward to continuing my university educational journey in one of the most important and prestigious Korean universities, Yonsei University, specifically “Underwood International college” To majoring in international studies, and it is a dream that I hope to achieve, that will make me be an effective tool in the reform and development of my first country, Yemen, and my other country, the Republic of Korea.
