Forensic Science SC 140 Report Instructions

For each report you must choose one of two articles and write a two-page paper that
either summarizes or critiques the article.

Notes:
 Reports should be approximately two typed pages.
 Must be in proper APA format.
 Include at LEAST two references in addition to referencing the article (minimum 3).
 Write the report in your own words – do not copy and paste from another source.
 Grammar and spelling will count.
 Submit your report through the Drop Box by the posted due date.
The grading rubric will consist of 10 points proper APA format, 10 points for at least two
additional journal references in APA format, and 30 points for content, spelling, and grammar.
NOTE: A two-page APA formatted paper actually consists of four pages (Title Page, Two Page
Report, Reference Page).
The goal of this portion of the course is to ensure that students can:
1. Read and understand a scholarly journal.
2. Write a paper in proper APA format.
3. Complete a database search to locate additional journal articles.
