Learning Psychology: FRQ
When responding to an FRQ, you want to be specific, detailed, and accurate in your response. Use only
complete sentences and paragraph format. DO NOT list or bullet point responses. Do only what the
prompt demands but pay attention to those demands. Underline the key verbs in the prompt: analyze,
define, describe, discuss, explain, identify, relate and show. These verbs directly tell you what to do with
concepts. Type or NEATLY hand write these responses. If I cannot read or follow your responses, you will
lose points for organization and clarity. Organize your response to make it clear what concept you are
explaining and apply.
