literature review on an area of research in psychology

Introduction:
Throughout the semester you have learned information across a variety of psychological topics. So what interested you? What were you intrigued to know more about enough that you wrote a paper and conducted a literature review? Research is a foundation to learning. It moves us forward and drives us to find out more. It increases understanding regarding the world around us and help us identify how we can make improvements and changes.

Learning Objectives:
Describe and analyze the various research methods guiding the scientific study of psychological processes.
Use databases (e.g., the library and scholarly) to research empirical studies on psychological topics AND analyze and summarize that research using the basic elements of APA style.

Instructions:
Conduct a literature review on an area of research in psychology that has been preapproved. . Follow expectations outlined in all APA guidelines and expectations. The paper will be 5-7 pages in length, these pages do not include the title page or the reference page. Remember that within your paper you will need to address how your topic impacts the field of psychology as a whole. Your paper needs to be in APA formatting. You will also need to cite your sources within your paper. You will need to provide three reference sources of information.
