How can American legislators make campaign promises to manufacture things here in the United States and actually fulfill them? This paper should deal with the rise of America as an industrial giant and fall as jobs/ products left the United States. It would be useful to discuss legal regulation and laws that have made it possible for so much manufacturing to move out of the country. The paper should also examine strategies businesses and lawmakers can use to work together to create good jobs and manufacture quality products here in the United States. How do these segments convince consumers to buy American if the cost is higher to make these plans work? What are the legal implications of such a proposal?
