My Family and the Global Economy

As we have seen in this course, everyone participates in history and their life experiences are shaped by global trends. Now it is time to think about how you and your family fit into this story. For this you are going to write a 6-8 page history of your family and the global economy. The paper should tell the stories of a minimum of three generations, either including at least one great-grandparent or yourself. If this is going to be a problem for any reason, please see me for an alternative assignment. The paper requires being able to discuss your family history with someone who is knowledgeable, secondary research with a minimum of three sources used in the footnotes and bibliography. These are expected to follow the Chicago Manual of Style Format.
