My thought was doing anchoring effect on speakers like pricing
Title page: The title appears on the title page with the student’s name, course number, course title, and date submitted. Do not use the caption, “title”. The title should convey to the reader the topic that is studied. In an experimental study, this might include the independent and dependent variables. In a correlational study, the tile might include predictor and criterion variables.
Abstract: A 100-word description that includes your hypotheses and how you are going to test it.
Introduction: This section begins the body of the research proposal. Center the title at the top of the page. Start the introduction with a statement of the research problem and then cite the relevant research. The literature review provides a context and rationale for the hypothesis that is under investigation. Mainly cite primary sources. You are to paraphrase rather than quote from the past literature and document the source by listing the author’s name (or authors’ names) and year of publication in parenthesis: e.g., Donald (1994) or (Donald, 1995). The instruction section ends with a statement of the hypothesis (or hypotheses) under study with operational dimensions definitions for th variables in the hypothesis statement.
Methods: A description of how the study is to be carried out. Accuracy is important and must be written with enough detail that someone else could replicate it. There will be several sections here
Participants: Describe who the research participants will be, how they will be selected, and how many would be involved with the study.
Methods or Apparatus: A complete description of the type of equipment and/or stimulus material used in the research. If you develop your own material, then you will describe how it was done. If existing materials will be used, you need to document the source.
When surveys or tests are used as outcome measures, each must be described briefly with an appropriate citation. Yu need to indicate the number of items, response categories, and how it is cored. If you develop your own survey, you must describe how the measure was constructed.
Procedure: Complete details about how the research was to be conducted. You need to report the participants’ instructions and all the experimental manipulations. You will need to talk about how trials were used and in what order the experimental conditions were run.
Results and Discussion: Given that you are not going to run the actual proposed study, it is difficult to engage in data analysis and discuss the findings. Thus, in these to section, I want you to do the following:
Results: You are to indicate what type of statistical test do you expect to do based on the nature of the variables (e.g., categorical or continuous) and the research design (2-group design, 3-group design, 2 x 2 between-group design).
Discussion: What are the implications of your hypotheses and what are the limitations associated with finding if you conducted this research and confirmed your hypotheses?
References: Need to be in APA-form. If you cite the research in your narrative text, then it must be placed in your reference list. If it is not cited, then it should not be in the reference list. Again, you need to be using primary sources.
