The association between diet diversity and academic performance SPSS

1-Discriptive table on the sociodemographic variables for all of the sampl (age, marital status, residency)

*note: we want all of the sample as one in this table meaning that there is no need to specify which college just put them together as one. And make the age from 18-26 as one category no need to devide it.

2-3 separate tables of The

mean +/- SD for the:

1/sociodemographic variables

2/academic variables

3/diet diversity scores DDS

*note the first table mean +/- SD of the sociodemographic variables, the second table is for the mean +/- SD of the academic variables,

the third table is for the mean +/- SD

for diet diversity

3-Comparison of th scores for each of the 5 food groups for each college as well as the total DDS with each college WITH p-values.

*note: the DDS are categorized into 3 categories:

6 and above= high DDS

3-5 = medium DDS

less than 3 = low DDS

*note: we want to see the trends and patterns of food groups between colleges as well as the total DDS

Example: who has the highest DDS amongst the 5 health colleges ?

3-Correlation between each of the academic variables (GPA, failed and deleted courses) with each one of the food groups (meat, bread,milk…etc)

*note: we have 5 food groups and 3 academic variables we want to see the correlation between each on of the 5 groups with each one of the 3 academic variables.

exampl: the correlation between GPA and the meat group, the correlation between GPA and bread group, the correlation between the meat group and failed courses…etc.

*Conduct a post hoc analysis for each significant value

*Provide clear comments that describe the trends or significance of the tables.
