The yellow wallpaper

I chose “The yellow wallpaper”. Please do not make this paper sound like it’s from a college professor with a PHD. I’ve attached a writing sample of my own for reference to my writing level. I asked my prof if we’re supposed to stay in character as a journalist the whole time and she said yes. How you’re supposed to do a literary analysis of the text while being a reporter, I have no idea. Maybe “A psychologist decided to analyze her writing in the journal and compare it to works of American Gothic literature”. If this cannot be done I need to know so I can whip together a half ass paper by myself. Standard MLA format 1 inch margins so on and so forth. In the places where my name would need to be put, just write “your first and last name” or something. I’ll look at this before I submit it.
