The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill:

Research and examine the songs and lyrics on Lauryn Hill’s album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, or another album of your choosing. How do these songs and lyrics demonstrate a cultural and personal struggle? Hill discusses many topics that you could examine through the use of her lyrics including but not limited to divinity, personhood, the ghetto, African American Vernacular English (Ebonics), family, gender, and education.

Use the topic provided in this packet and write a researched, argumentative or explorative essay.
