Paper TopicThe topic is abortion. This is a paper in which you explain and attempt the refute the argument of one of the authors we have read. Here are the basic things you must do for the paper:
1) Choose one of the abortion articles to write your paper about (there are three: Warren, Marquis, and Thomson).
2) Spend the first half of the paper explaining the argument of the article. Be thorough and clear.
3) Spend the second half of the paper criticizing the article. Here you have to think hard about what, in your view, is wrong with the author’s argument, and articulate it in your paper as clearly as possible.*NOTE: This is not a research paper. You need not deal with any readings other than the course readings that are relevant to your topic. The purpose of this paper is for you to show that you understand and can critically engagewith ideas, notfor you to look up and report on what others have said about the ideas. That said, if you think additional sources will help you make your argument, feel free to use them.
