Minimum Requirements for Instagram Mini Project

Your Instagram page should have:

1) A relevant title/username that shows other users the issue you want to advocate

2) A longer explanation of the issue you want to advocate in your “bio”

3) A minimum of 15 posts. Each post should have an image or video and have captions where you do some or all of the following:

a. Give historical background/context about your issue

b. Educate users about a particular aspect of your issue

c. Share interesting facts about your research

d. Provide information on further resources

e. Use Hashtags

f. Tag pages of similar interest

g. Be of reasonable length for a typical post

4) You should also have a minimum of three story categories with 5 images or video each (not reposts from your own IG). Your stories should follow the usual expectations for posting stories, so if you aren’t sure what those are, you should watch a lot of stories until you get the idea. Some or all of the following would be a good start:

a. Be less formal that your main page posts

b. Use text captions

c. Use gifs

d. Use geotags

5) Follow 10 other pages that are related to your own page in some way or people who have used your hashtag in the past.

The subject matter consists of 15 stories without watermarks and a few sentences. My topic is the trade war between China and the United States.
