Some speculate that the relatively low cost of fast food may influence rates of obesity. Consider this argument in more depth by calculating the weekly cost of dinner for four at two different fast food restaurants (four dinners at one location and three dinners at the other). Then, calculate the cost of home-cooked meals for the same seven days. Compare.

Considering the many parents understand that fast food is of low nutritional value, why do you think many of them still allow children to eat it?
