Approximately 1000 words. This not a research paper, so other than the material we cover in class you should not need to consult elsewhere. Bibliographic style is your choice but be consistent in your citations. Philosophy departments and journals worldwide prefer the Chicago Manuel of Style. If you are continuing in philosophy, you may want to follow the Chicago Manuel guidelines.

Please submit your papers to Assignments on our course Brightspace site by 10h Tuesday, December 1st. There is a 5% deduction per day as a penalty for late papers.
